Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Volume Booster & Amplifier Android app ("the App") handles information. We have designed the App to be as privacy-friendly as possible: the App itself does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
1. Data we collect
None. The App does not require an account, does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or location, and does not collect or store information about your device, your audio files, or your usage.
Your boost setting stays on your device. When you close the App, everything returns to the device's normal volume.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version of the App shows an occasional interstitial (full-screen) ad served by Google AdMob. AdMob is a third-party advertising service owned by Google LLC.
To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and process information such as:
- the advertising identifier of your device;
- device type, operating system, and general location (e.g., country or region);
- interaction with the ads shown to you.
Google processes this data according to its own Privacy Policy and Google's Partner Sites Policy. We do not receive any information that personally identifies you from AdMob.
You can reset or opt out of personalized advertising at any time from your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads (or the equivalent privacy area on your device). The App will still show non-personalized ads if you opt out.
3. Permissions the App uses
- Modify audio settings — required to apply the real system LoudnessEnhancer gain that raises your volume.
- Foreground service / notifications — used to keep the boost alive and show a small "Boost ON" notification that can be dismissed at any time.
- Internet — used only to fetch the app's remote configuration and to load advertisements from AdMob.
4. Data shared with third parties
Apart from the advertising identifiers described in section 2 (handled by Google), the App does not share any data with third parties. There are no analytics SDKs, no crash trackers, and no data brokers.
5. Data storage and security
Because the App stores no personal data, there is nothing for us to secure on our side. Any communication between your device and the services mentioned above (config fetch, ad delivery) is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS/HTTPS.
6. Children's privacy
The App is a general-purpose utility rated for ages 3+. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
7. Your choices
- You can stop using the App or uninstall it at any time; all local settings are removed with it.
- You can disable personalized ads from your device settings (see section 2).
- You can request to opt out of ad-based data processing at any time by contacting us.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change how the App handles data, we will update this page and revise the "Effective date" above. We encourage you to review this policy from time to time.
